Vice President of University College Dublin Aoife Ahern and her delegation visit Chang'an University

On March 25, Aoife Ahern, Vice President of University College Dublin, and Catherine MacKenzie, ViceDeanof Chang'an Dublin International College of Transportationvisited Chang'an University. Vice President Fan Wen, in company with the heads ofChang'an Dublin International College of TransportationatChang'an University and Office of the International Cooperation and Exchange, met with the guests in the meeting room of Beichen Building on Weishui Campus.

Vice President Fan Wen welcomed the visit ofVice President Aoife Ahernand her delegation, and expressed his gratitude to UCD for its efforts in deepening the cooperation between the two universities.He briefly introduced the basic situation and international exchanges and cooperation of Chang'an University. He recalled that over the years, the two universities have established a deep friendship and carried out extensive and in-depth cooperation, especially since the launch of the cooperation in running the universities, the ties have become closer and landmark results have been achieved. He said that these achievements mainly relies on the profound foundation of international cooperation between the two parties. In the future, on the basis of the existing cooperation between the two universities,Chang'an Universitywill continue to strengthen the cooperation between the two universities.

Vice President Aoife Ahernexpressed her gratitude for the warm reception and briefly introduced the basic situation ofUniversity College Dublin.She pointed out that UCD cherishes the cooperation and exchanges with Chang'an University, and is committed to carrying out in-depth cooperation in a wide range of fields. She stressed that Chang'an University is a high-level university with distinctive academic characteristics, strong educational strength and excellent social services. She hoped that the two universities would continue to promote pragmatic cooperation and strive to establish a deeper and closer cooperative relationship.
